The Asia News Photo Website (www.asianewsphoto.com), operated by China Daily on behalf of Asia News Network, had a soft launch on March 1, 2006.The website features pictures from Asia, which will mainly be contributed by ANN members. The website specially seeks contributions from freelance professionals as well as organizations in Asia.The photo service will span the whole spectrum from news, features and events to fashion, the environment and sports.We hope to provide the best possible professional service to the global media as well as being an outlet to photographers in Asia.Asia News Network (ANN) is an alliance of 21 Asian newspapers published in 18 countries, organized to provide avenues for cooperation and to optimize coverage of major news events in the region.
